Vardhman Special Steel awards INTECO with billet caster revamping

The Indian steel producer Vardhman Special Steel, based in Ludhiana has recently awarded INTECO with the revamping of their existing billet. INTECO will equip the existing machine with a rigid dummy bar system, secondary cooling, heat insulation and a new mould system for the billet sizes 160sq, 200sq and 240x260.

This is the first engineering and delivery project with this Indian customer who has already made use of INTECO’s excellent consulting services in the past.
