New INTECO Special Steel Shop start up at SeAH CSS in Changwon

Before the end of 2016 and in time with the tough project schedule INTECO was able to carry out the first heat with all four different plants at the new special steel shop for SeAH CSS in Changwon, Korea.

The plant consisting of an 8t vacuum induction furnace (VIM), 8t vacuum arc remelting furnace (VAR) and two electroslag remelting furnaces (4t and 8t, ESR) is now able to fully operate. INTECO not only deliverd the plant engineering and equipment but also valuable know how and production experience for the client to build up the new product segment for nickel base alloys.
