INTECO successfully performs first heat at Asil Celik

By placing an order for the engineering and delivery of a 16-ton short collar ESR plant, Asil Celik took the first step into the product segment of high-quality remelted special steels at the beginning of 2019. After delivery earlier this year, assembly and commissioning could start in summer despite the still ongoing worldwide corona pandemic and now the first heat was successfully completed in mid-September. A milestone that could only be reached due to the excellent cooperation with Asil Celik and the internal teamwork of INTECO's site staff and the remote support by the experts in Austria.

With this new ESR plant, equipped with many design features such as a newly designed protective gas system, which guarantees lowest consumption of inert gas, INTECO is pleased to have started Asil Celik's way to establishing itself as a renowned special steel producer for high-performance steels and to be able to accompany it in future.
