INTECO receives new order from Daye Special Steel

Already having an INTECO ESR and a VAR plant in successful operation, long-time customer Daye Special Steel came back to INTECO after several years to add another high quality plant to its collection.

The contract comprises the engineering and supply of a 20t ESR plant featuring single electrode remelting in static molds for a max. ingot diameter of 1200 mm. Of course this ESR plant is equipped with the latest innovative features and state of the art technology and based on INTECO´s recently developed furnace concept for static mold operation

The project is already in full force as the schedule is a tight one, expecting the delivery before Christmas and the start of erection for the beginning of 2018.
