First Heat at Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries, China

Despite severe travel restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic the INTECO ESR project for Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries in China has continued steadily.

During the erection phase in March, INTECO’s Chinese employees, who have proven their know-how and qualification in similar projects, took on a leading role on site and instructed the local erection team. They were supported by INTECO’s experts who provided assistance from Austria using various communication channels. The same joint teamwork was now used for the hot commissioning of the plant with local INTECO experts on site and INTECO metallurgists based in Austria working together closely.

The reward of all project members was the first heat carried out successfully at the end of July to the full satisfaction of the customer.

This project is one of several which have been erected and commissioned during those difficult times using remote control. A procedure which has proven successful and ensured the continuance of INTECOs daily project business. Of course a positive outcome is only possibly with close cooperation with the customer by pulling in the same direction. And INTECO is very happy to found such an excellent project partner in NHIC.
