Elektrostomana places order for new grinding ball plant at INTECO

Beginning of July the Bulgarian company Elektrostomana in Karlovo placed an order at INTECO for engineering and the supply of one complete production line for grinding balls. The new plant can produce high-quality grinding balls with a diameter from 25mm up to 100mm and will be the first one of its kind in Bulgaria.

The plant essentially consists of an inductive heating section, a roller stand as well as specialised quenching and temper sections in order to achieve the required maximum hardness and toughness of the grinding balls as well as a high wear-resistance. The necessary process automation is also part of the scope of delivery and services. According to the project time schedule, the commissioning of the entire plant will be in the beginning of 2018.
