Dr. Denise Loder wins the INTECO ASMET Award 2016

As part of the ASMET Forum for Metallurgy, taking place on May 10th in Leoben, the INTECO ASMET Award was awarded for the 7th time in a row. The proud winner is Denise Loder, who could convince the jury with her PhD thesis “on the formation of acicular ferrite” for the institute ofr ferrous metallurgy at the University of Leoben. Besides Denise Loder also Dipl. Ing. Michael Riedler and Ebrahim Sibaki MSc were honoured for their scientific work. The total prize money for the INTECO ASMET award is 3000 €. Dr. Bruno Hribernik, president of the ASMET, presented the winner with the award, a sculpture specifically created by the Austrian artist family Gahr.
