ALL GOOD THINGS COME IN FOURS...

After INTECO started up the first ESR furnace at Uddeholms AB in 2015, it was able to establish a trustworthy partnership with the Swedish steel producer resulting in several follow up orders. Now - within the record breaking project lead time of little more than a year- the fourth ESR plant has been successfully installed in Hagfors, Sweden and the Final Acceptance Certificate was signed.

This highly innovative furnace can be evacuated before start of the melt and features a most efficient protective gas system that provides repeatable remelting conditions for the production of ESR ingots weighing up to 30t and measuring up to 1.250mm in diameter in static mould operation. The successful completion of this fourth furnace at Uddeholms AB adds another chapter to the business relationship with one of INTECO´s long-time customers characterized by mutual respect and trust.
