INTECO carries out first heat at thyssenkrupp

In 2016 thyssenkrupp’s steel division awarded INTECO’s experts with the supply of a state of the art ladle furnace for the treatment of 265t of liquid steel. This innovative furnace was installed at the plant in Duisburg-Beeckerwerth. After an intensive erection phase, mid of august 2018 the first heat was carried out.

Hello Vietnam!

End of October INTECO was awarded with the revamping of an existing 100t Nikko Electric Arc Furnace as well as of an existing Ladle Furnace by TungHo Vietnam. The plant is part of the Taiwanese Tung Ho steel group and produces approximately 1 Mio t/year.

Future Metallurgists visit INTECO

In October we had the honour to welcome a fun group of metallurgy students from the Montanuniversität Leoben as last and final stop of their field trip 2018!

First Heat at Uddeholm

Beginning of October and according to the overall project schedule, the first heat was successfully carried out with INTECO ESR furnace number three at the Swedish premium steel producer Uddeholm.
