INTECO is pleased with the first melt at IDRO Heavy Foundry & Forging, Iran

The - due to the political situation in 2011 - halted and in late 2015 resumed ESR project at the customer IDRO Heavy Foundry & Forging continues to report positive progress.

Dr. Denise Loder wins the INTECO ASMET Award 2016

As part of the ASMET Forum for Metallurgy, taking place on May 10^th in Leoben, the INTECO ASMET Award was awarded for the 7^th time in a row. The proud winner is Denise Loder, who could convince the jury with her PhD thesis “on the formation of acicular ferrite” for the institute ofr ferrous metallurgy at the University of Leoben.

INTECO receives major order from thyssenkrupp

It was a dream come true for the international INTECO Group, located in Bruck a.d. Mur, Austria, at the beginning of March 2016. Nobody less than steel giant thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG awarded the plant engineering company with an eight figure order.

INTECO receives new order from Goodwin Steel Castings Limited, UK

In December 2015 INTECO was awarded with the order for engineering of a 30t VODC converter from Goodwin Steel Castings Limited, a high quality producer of medium sized castings. The highly innovative plant concept will allow Goodwin to carry out normal AOD - , as well as vacuum treatments in the same plant and to produce better steel qualities.

INTECO receives further orders from Fushun Special Steel, China

End of November 2015 Fushun awarded INTECO with the order including engineering and supply of a 20t ESR plant, which will be carried out in close cooperation with INTECO Dalian, as the local manufacturer. The very sophisticated plant concept is based on two furnace heads with three melt stations producing ingots with a max. diameter on 1200 mm and a max. weight of 30t.
